On Saturday, July 20th, Comer Construction proudly participated in the Falling Branch Brewery Touch-a-Truck event supporting the Whiteford Fire Company. It was a day filled with excitement, learning, and community spirit, bringing together families from all over the area.
Everyone that attended had the unique opportunity to get up close and personal with a variety of impressive trucks and equipment. Comer Construction brought four vehicles, including a backhoe and dump truck.
The event wasn’t just about the trucks, though. It was about engaging with our community and sparking curiosity in the next generation. We saw many young faces light up with excitement as they climbed into the driver’s seat, honked horns, and asked countless questions. Kids particularly enjoyed sandbox stations and giveaways, including construction gear, shirts, and hats.
A big thank you to everyone who came out and made the Falling Branch Touch-A-Truck event such a success. We are proud to be a part of this wonderful community and look forward to more events like this in the future!
This past weekend I attended the touch-a-truck event at Falling Branch Brewery. I wanted to share my intense gratitude, as you all were so incredibly kind and accommodating to my sister-in-law with cerebral palsy. She was able to get into one of your tractors and it really, really made her day. My partner and she recently lost their mother and she’s been having a really hard time. The joy you brought her by making such an effort to include her that day is truly priceless.
