Our Annual Employee Appreciation Event was held on October 14th at the Jarrettsville Manor Memorial VFW Post 8672. Team members brought their significant others for a night of food, prizes, and camaraderie.
Seafood lovers enjoyed steamed crabs and shrimp. Pit beef, turkey, and ham were also available, along with a wide assortment of sides, salads, and desserts.
Multiple tributes to Leona Comer were included in this year’s event to celebrate and recognize her contributions to Comer Construction.
Every year Comer Construction provides special recognition to employees celebrating signifcant milestones with the organization. This year we recognized the following employees for their years of service:
- 5 Years: Joseph Masta, Chris Slavin, and John Ballweg
- 10 Years: Kenneth “Kenny” Giles
- 15 Years: Tim Kaptein
- 25 Years: James “Jimmy” LeBrun
- 35 Years: Dwight “Burt” Miller, Charles “Charlie” Streett,
- 40 Years: Fred Rice
