Comer Construction is proud to contribute to the creation of the Sinai Hospital Cancer Center, a state-of-the-art facility designed to provide comprehensive cancer treatment and care. This project, managed by general contractor The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, represents a significant advancement in healthcare infrastructure for the Baltimore community.
The 125,000-square-foot Mandy and Dennis Weinman Cancer Building will consolidate all outpatient cancer services for adults and children under one roof. The center is designed with the comfort and care of patients in mind, featuring numerous treatment and support spaces.
The facility will include 32 adult infusion bays, 16 adult exam spaces, seven pediatric infusion bays, six pediatric exam rooms, and renovated radiation oncology suites. Additional support services and spaces will enhance the patient experience, including a living room, areas for visitors to work, an art therapy space, and a playroom. The third-floor adult infusion area will offer views of the nearby Cylburn Arboretum.
